RECHARGEABLE DEVICE FOR PACKAGING A COSMETIC PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a rechargeable device for packaging a cosmetic product and to a removable container intended to be used in such a rechargeable device. The invention also relates to a cosmetic product refill and a method of replacing the removable container of such a device.
In the cosmetic field, in particular, users are particularly sensitive to the aesthetics of packaging devices. However, the cost of cosmetic packaging devices is high and increases the price of cosmetics sold commercially in this form.
An idea has emerged consisting in providing an aesthetic packaging device, including a separate container, which is less aesthetic, but whose packaging is less expensive. Preferably, the container is removable so as to be able to reload the packaging device, by replacing the removable container.
Application FR-A-2 995 199 describes, for example, a jar for cosmetic product comprising a shell forming a neck delimiting an upper edge of the shell, and an insert containing the cosmetic product received in the shell. A cover can be screwed onto a thread made on the outside surface of the neck. However, in this document, the insert is not intended to be replaced. Consequently, the main drawback of this jar is that it is not refillable.
To make such an insert removable, FR-A-2 745 276 suggests forming a small hole between the bottom of the shell and the housing receiving the insert, so as to be able to pass a fine object through it and push the insert from the below.
However, depending on the material in which the insert is made, the operation to push the insert from below, can simply lead to deformation of the insert, with the risk of splashes of cosmetic product. In addition, it is necessary to use a tool that can be inserted into the hole in the bottom of the shell.
Furthermore, application TWM365672 describes a pot comprising a shell, with a housing with a non-circular section, receiving a refill of cosmetic product with a section complementary to the housing. A ring is screwed onto the shell, above the refill, leaving a threaded edge of the refill protruding from the ring. A cover is screwed onto this threaded edge.
The pot as described in TWM365672 is however not very aesthetic, a clearance existing between the ring and the threaded edge of the refill, to allow the passage of this threaded edge in the opening formed by the ring.
An object of the invention is to provide a device for packaging a cosmetic product, which is rechargeable and which does not have at least some of the above-mentioned drawbacks. In particular, the invention aims to provide a refillable packaging device whose removable container can easily be replaced, while ensuring satisfactory fixing of the removable container, especially when the lid of the packaging device is closed.
To this end, the invention provides a rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device comprising:
a removable container containing cosmetic product, a covering shell defining a housing for receiving the removable container, the housing receiving the removable container opening at an outlet in the covering shell, the removable container being fixed to the covering shell by elastic fitting of additional reliefs, the removable container being able to be removed from the covering shell in a reversible manner, a cover capable of closing the opening of the housing in the covering shell, in which the cover is suitable for be fixed to one of the cover and the removable container so as to lock the elastic casing of the complementary reliefs.
Thus, advantageously, once the lid is fixed on the removable container, it is no longer possible to remove the removable container from the covering shell. This avoids any risk of untimely withdrawal of the removable container, out of the covering shell.
However, it is still possible to replace the removable container, in particular by removing the cover before removing the removable container from the covering shell.
Advantageously, this removal of the removable container is reversible, that is to say that the removed removable container can again be fixed to the covering shell by elastic fitting of complementary reliefs.

In the following description, identical elements or identical functions bear the same reference sign. For the sake of brevity in this description, these elements are not described in detail in each example. On the contrary, only the differences between the embodiments are described in detail.
FIGS. 1 to 8 illustrate a first example of a rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device 10 (hereinafter packaging device 10). This packaging device 10 essentially comprises a removable container 12 of cosmetic product, a covering shell 14 receiving the removable container 12, a cover 16 and a seal 18. The seal 18 aims to prevent the product cosmetic contained in the removable container 12 does not dry out.
More specifically, the covering shell 14 defines a housing 20 intended to receive at least partially the removable container 12. The housing 20 opens at an outlet 22 in the covering shell 14. The covering shell 14 also forms an edge 24 around the outlet 22. The covering shell 14 is here shaped to allow the covering shell 14 to be placed in equilibrium on a flat support. As illustrated, the covering shell 14 rests on such a planar support by a support area 26 surrounding a bottom 28, set back with respect to the support area 26. As a variant, the bottom 28 is not not set back from the support area 26 but, on the contrary, is part of this support area 26. The support area 26 is for example of closed contour, in particular of circular or elliptical contour, or of any other form. Alternatively, the support zone 26 is formed, as illustrated, by feet separated from the covering shell
14. The bottom 28 of the covering shell 14 possibly has a through hole 30, opening on the one hand on the bottom 28, outside the covering shell 14, and, on the other hand, in the housing 20. The hole 30 advantageously allows the passage of a finger. To do this, the hole 30 can have a diameter of at least 10 mm, preferably at least 15 mm. According to an embodiment not shown, the bottom 28, plan, of the covering shell 14 is covered at least partially by a label, the label possibly or not covering the hole 30. The label can for example carry any information relating to the brand of the product and / or its composition and / or its mode of application and / or its possible expiry date.
Between the support zone 26 and the edge 24 of the outlet 22, the covering shell 14 essentially forms a bottom part 32 of substantially parallelepiped external shape, and an upper part 34 of tubular shape, forming a neck. Of course, this shape of the covering shell 14 is not limiting, the latter possibly having substantially any shape, in particular any shape aimed at ensuring the aesthetics of the packaging device 10. A substantially circular groove 36 is produced at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. A vertical notch 38 is also produced in the neck 34 of the covering shell 14.
The covering shell 14 is preferably translucent, even transparent. This gives the covering shell 14 and the packaging device 10 an aesthetic effect appreciated by users. The covering shell 14 can also be opaque.
The covering shell 14 can in particular be made from one of: glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, crystal and plastic, in particular polymethylmethacrylate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, ionomer resin such as the ethylene vinyl copolymer known under the trade name of Surlyn®, natural stone, synthetic stone, ceramic, porcelain, wood and urea formaldehyde.
Furthermore, the removable container 12 has a bottom 40, an orifice 42 and a side wall 44 between the bottom 40 and the orifice 42. The bottom 40 of the removable container 12 has here the shape of a stud, substantially flat. Consequently, when the removable container 12 is placed on the bottom 40 on a flat support, the removable container 12 is in unstable equilibrium. This makes it more difficult to use the removable container 12 when it is not mounted in the covering shell 14. This is particularly true in the case where the cosmetic product contained in the removable container is in the form of powder, liquid , cream, which tend to flow out of the removable container 12 when the latter is not held vertically.
Furthermore, the side wall 44 of the removable container 12 has, according to the example of Figures 1 to 3, a substantially hemispherical shape, flared towards the orifice 42. However, other shapes of the side wall 44 of the removable container 12 are possible. However, the side wall 44 of the removable container 12 preferably has a flared shape from the bottom 40 to the orifice 42, this in order to facilitate access by the user to all of the cosmetic product contained in the removable container 12.
The side wall 44 of the removable container 12 here forms a rim 46 around the orifice 42. In other words, the side wall 44 is folded around the orifice 42. The rim 46 is shaped to receive the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. In particular, the width of this flange 46 is substantially equal to the width of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. Also, a fold 48 surrounding the flange 46 radially outside, is of length substantially equal to the height of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14 added to the width of the groove 36 produced at the base of the neck 34. On its radially external face, the fold 48 has a thread 50.
The fold 48 also has at least one tab 52. In this case, the fold 48 has three tabs 52. The tabs 52 are angularly distributed here on the fold 48. The tabs 52 are disposed under the thread 50, that is that is to say between the thread 50 and the free end 54 of the fold 48. The tongues 52 are cut in the fold 48. In other words, the tongues 52 are separated from the rest of the fold 48 by two spaces, arranged apart and other of each of the tongues 52. At its lower end and on its radially internal face, each tongue 52 has a bead 56, of section substantially complementary to the section of the groove 36 at the base of the neck of the shell. dressing 14.
Finally, a stop 58 is provided on the radially internal face of the fold 48. The stop 58 is produced in the form of a protruding relief from the radially internal face of the fold 48, extending mainly in the direction of the axis X, median of the rechargeable device 10 for packaging a cosmetic product. The stop 58 is shaped to be received in the notch 38 formed in the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. This stop 58 can thus allow indexing of the removable container 12 on the covering shell 14. other words, the stop 58 cooperating with the notch 38, makes it possible to fix the relative angular position of the removable container 12 relative to the covering shell 14, around the axis X.
The removable container 12 can in particular be made of aluminum, aluminum alloy, steel, glass, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, cardboard, in particular varnished cardboard or multilayer cardboard complexed with other materials such as metal sheets or plastic sheets. Depending on the materials used, the production of the removable container is more or less easy and therefore expensive. Nobler materials such as porcelain, ceramic or glass can be chosen to ensure an aesthetic and quality effect appreciated and sought after by users. The use of these materials can also contribute to the aesthetic effect of the packaging device 10, in particular when the covering shell 14 is translucent or transparent.
The removable container 12 can in particular comprise cosmetic product in the form of a cream, paste, powder, gel, liquid or solid in one piece.
Finally, the cover 16 is able to close the orifice 42 of the removable container 12.
The cover 16 has an external wall 60 which can take any desired shape, in particular in order to obtain an aesthetic effect from the packaging device 10.
An internal wall 62 of the cover 16 defines a through cavity. This internal wall 62 is provided with a thread 64. The thread 64 allows, by cooperation with the thread 50 on the fold 48 of the removable container 12, to fix the cover 16 on the removable container 12. Preferably, the cover 16 and the removable container 12 are shaped to enclose the seal 18, when the cover 16 is fixed on the removable container 12. In particular, as can be seen for example in FIG. 5, when the cover 16 is fixed on the container removable 12, the seal 18 is clamped between the bottom 66 of the cover and the top 68 of the rim 46 of the removable container 12.
The cover 16 can be translucent, even transparent, or on the contrary opaque.
The cover 16 is for example made of one of wood, a ceramic material, metal, porcelain, a rigid foam for example of the polyurethane type, natural stone, synthetic stone, mixed stone powder a binder, transformed by injection, of leather, glass, crystal, plastic, in particular thermosetting plastic, such as urea formaldehyde, or thermoplastic plastic, and / or in particular frosted and / or varnished and / or painted plastic and / or metallized and / or galvanized and / or provided with visual effects, natural fabric, or synthetic fabric, or any other material known for the production of a cover.
The packaging device 10 can be sold fully assembled. Alternatively, the packaging device 10 is sold as a kit. In this case, the mounting of such a packaging device 10 can be carried out as follows.
First of all, as illustrated by FIGS. 4 to 6, the removable container 12 is partially inserted into the housing 20 formed by the covering shell 14. As a result of this partial insertion, the beads 56 at the end of the tongues 52 of the removable container 12 are not resiliently fitted in the complementary groove 36 produced at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. In this position, the tongues 52 are elastically deformed. As illustrated in FIG. 6, the beads 56 can be arranged substantially opposite the groove 36 at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. Thus, preferably, the insertion of the removable container 12 into the housing 20 is produced over a length large enough for the stop 58 on the internal face of the fold 48 to be received in the notch 38 formed in the neck 34 of the covering shell 14.
Then, the removable container 12 is pushed towards the covering shell 14 so that the beads 56 are received in the groove 36, as illustrated in the figure
6. The elastic fitting (or “clipping”) of the removable container 12 is thus allowed on the covering shell 14. More particularly, the removable container 12 is fixed on the covering shell by elastic fitting of the beads 56 of the tongues 52 of the removable container 12 in the complementary groove 36, formed at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14.
Preferably, in this position, the tongues 52 are not elastically deformed.
Finally, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the cover 16 is screwed onto the removable container 12. The screwing of the cover 16 onto the removable container makes it possible to lock the elastic casing of the removable container 12 on the covering shell. In fact, as is particularly visible in FIGS. 7 and 8, the cover 16, screwed onto the removable container 12, prevents any elastic deformation of the tongues 52, aimed at removing the beads 56 from the tongues 52 out of the groove 36 at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. In the position of the cover 16, screwed onto the removable container 14, the fold 48 and the tabs 52 in particular are sandwiched, preferably substantially without play, between the internal wall 62 of the cover 16 and the neck 34 of the covering shell 14.
It should be noted here that the screwing of the cover 60 on the removable container 12 is facilitated by the fact that the stop 58 is received in the notch 38 in the neck 34 of the removable container. This stop 58 thus limits the relative rotation of the removable container 12 relative to the covering shell 14. Also, by holding the covering shell 14 with one hand, the cover 16 can be screwed in with the other hand, onto the removable container 12.
It is particularly advantageous that the cover 16 is fixed on the removable container 12. In fact, the fixing reliefs (here a thread, but other fixing means can be imagined, in particular elastic casing reliefs , for example) may contain cosmetic deposits. By replacing the removable container 12 and / or the cover 16, these cosmetic product deposits are eliminated. In addition, this makes it possible to market refills composed of a removable container 12 and a cover 16, which can allow the shape of the cover 16 to be changed regularly and therefore modify the shape of the rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device 10. The shape and / or color of the cover can also be modified according to the cosmetic product in the removable container 12 associated to form a refill of cosmetic product.
The removable container 12 can be provided with a tight seal. This sealed cover can be removed from the removable container 12 before or after its insertion into the covering shell 14. The cover, optionally provided with a seal, seals the removable container 12 before it is opened. Advantageously, the cover cannot be replaced on the removable container 12 so that the cosmetic product cannot be stored, after opening, except in the packaging device 10. In fact, only the device packaging 10 allows the removable, open container 12 to be closed, by means of the cover 16, while ensuring a suitable seal, by means of the seal 18.
Once the entire contents of the removable container 12 have been used, the user can remove the removable container 12 from the packaging device 10. To remove the removable container 12, a user must first remove the cover 16.
Then only, the user can remove the removable container 12. The removal of the removable container 12 from the covering shell 14 can for example be carried out by pushing on the removable container 12 through the opening 30 in the bottom 28 of the covering shell 14 or, preferably by pulling on the removable container or on one of the pastes 52 to bring out the corresponding bead 56 from the groove 36.
Interestingly, the removal of the removable container 12 from the covering shell 14 can be carried out in a reversible manner. In other words, this removal is carried out without deterioration of the removable container 12 or of the covering shell 14. In particular, the tabs 52 are neither plastically deformed, which would prevent them from returning to their original shape, nor torn. These tabs 52 can thus again make it possible to resiliently fit the beads 56 which they carry in the groove 36. The removable container 12 can thus be reused or mount and dismount several times on a covering shell.
Once the old removable container 12 has been removed, the user can then insert a new removable container 12, operating as described above.
Figures 9 to 13 illustrate a variant 100 of the rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device 10 according to the first example described.
In this variant, the tabs 52 on the fold 48 of the removable container 12 form not only a bead 56 received in the groove 36 at the base of the neck 34 of the covering shell, but also a bead 102. This bead 102 is oriented radially outwards from the removable container 12. The bead 102 allows, by cooperation with the thread 64 inside the cover, to enclose even more intimately the tabs 52 between the cover 18 and the neck 34 of the shell covering 14, as is particularly visible in FIG. 13. In fact, this bead 102 oriented radially outward limits or even cancels any play between the cover 16 and the tab 52, at the free end 54 of tab 52. This reduced clearance is notably visible by comparison of FIGS. 7 and 12.
Finally, FIGS. 14 to 20 illustrate a third example 200 of a rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device.
In this example, the removable container 12 is not fixed directly to the covering shell 14. The removable container 12 is fixed to the covering shell.
Here, by “directly fixed on”, it is meant that the fixing is carried out at at least one surface of the removable container and one surface of the covering shell 14 in contact with one another. In other words, the removable container 12 is directly connected to the covering shell 14. In particular, in the case of an elastic fitting, "directly fixed on" means that an elastic fitting relief is produced by the removable container 12 while the other elastic casing relief is produced by the covering shell 14.
"Fixed to" means more broadly that although the removable container 12 is made integral with the covering shell 14, the removable container 12 may not be directly connected to the covering shell 14. In particular the fixing may not be performed at the surfaces in contact with the covering shell and the removable container. There may however be a contact between the removable container 12 and the covering shell 14, but this contact is not such as to secure the removable container 12 and the covering shell 14. This connection can then be carried out indirectly. , using one or more intermediate parts.
Thus, in the rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device 200 according to FIGS. 13 to 20, the removable container 12 is fixed to the covering shell 14 by means of a ring 202 (or "hoop"). Here, the ring 202 forms a first crown 204, of large diameter, a second crown 206 of small diameter, and a portion 208 in the form of a ring which connects the first and second crowns 204, 206. The second crown 206 s' extends over substantially the entire height of the ring 202. On the contrary, the first ring 204 extends over only a portion of the height of the ring 202. In particular, the first ring 204 extends over substantially half the height of the ring 202. The ring 202 thus has a section in "h".
The first ring 204 forms on its radially internal face reliefs 210 intended to be received in complementary housings 212, produced in the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. It should be noted that here, the covering shell 14 has no circular groove 36 at the base of the neck 34. The housings 212 can in particular be formed by flats 214 or recesses 216 in the radially external surface of the neck 34. The reliefs 210 on the first ring 204 can in particular take the form tongues extending mainly in a radial direction.
The ring 202 can be shaped to be mounted tight on the neck 34 of the covering shell. The radial distance between the first and second rings 204, 206 is then equal or even substantially less than the thickness of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. The height of the neck 34 is substantially equal to the height of the first ring 204 of such that when the ring is mounted tightly on the neck 33, the top of the neck 34 is supported on the ring-shaped portion 208 of the ring, while the free end of the first crown 204 is supported on the part of the covering shell 34 at the base of the neck 34.
The second crown 206 forms, on a lower portion intended to be oriented towards the covering shell 14, reliefs 218. As is more particularly visible in FIG. 4, these reliefs 218 have a substantially semi-disc shape, the base is facing down.
The second crown 206 also forms, on an upper portion intended to be oriented opposite the covering shell 14, tabs 220. These tabs 220 have a bead 222 oriented radially inwards. The legs 220 can be produced in substantially the same way as the legs 52 of the first and second examples described above.
Finally, in the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 14 to 20, the removable container 12 has on its radially external surface housings 224 of shape substantially complementary to the reliefs 218 produced on the radially internal wall of the lower portion of the first ring 204.
The removable container 12 also has on its radially external surface a circular groove 226 and, between the circular groove 226 and a free end 228 of its lateral surface 44, a thread 50 intended to cooperate with a thread 64 complementary to the cover 16.
The assembly of the rechargeable cosmetic product packaging device 200 according to FIG. 14 can be carried out as follows.
First of all, the ring 202 is mounted on the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. This mounting can be carried out by forcefully inserting the neck 34 of the covering shell 14 in the space delimited by the first and second rings 204, 206 and the ring-shaped portion 208. During this insertion, the reliefs 210 produced on the radially internal face of the first crown 204 are inserted in the housings 212 produced in the radially external surface of the neck 34 of the covering shell 14. Thus, one limits or even prevents the relative rotation of the ring 202 relative to the covering shell. The ring 202 is advantageously irremovable with respect to the covering shell 14.
The removable container 12 is then inserted into the housing 20 formed by the covering shell 14 as illustrated in FIG. 15. As can be seen in this FIG. 15, in this position the beads 222 of the tabs 220 formed by the ring 202 are not yet received in the groove 226 formed on the radially external surface of the side wall 44 of the removable container 12. In this position, the tabs 220 are elastically deformed.
The removable container 12 is then pushed, to allow the elastic fitting of the removable container 12 on the ring 202. In other words, the removable container 12 is pushed so that the beads 222 of the tabs 220 formed on the ring 202 are received in the groove 226 on the side wall 44 of the removable container 12. Concomitantly, the reliefs 218 in the form of a half-disc of the radially internal face of the second ring 206 of the ring 202, are received in the complementary housings 224 formed in the side wall 44 of the removable container 12. As a result, the relative rotation of the removable container 12 relative to the ring 202 is limited, or even prevented. We can also allow indexing of the removable container 12 relative to the ring, in particular by implementing housings 224 and different reliefs 218.
Finally, the cover 16 is screwed onto the removable container 12. The ring 202 being already integral in rotation with the covering shell 14, it is thus easier to screw the cover 16 onto the removable container 12, while keeping the shell dressing 14.
Once the cover 16 is screwed onto the removable container 12, the elastic fitting of the tabs 220 on the removable container 12 is locked. In fact, as is particularly visible in FIG. 20, in this position, the legs 220 are sandwiched between the cover 16 and the removable container 12, preferably with limited play or even no play at all. The elastic deformation of the legs 220 necessary for disassembly of the removable container 12 is thus prevented.
Disassembly of the removable container 12 out of the covering shell 14 is however possible, after removal of the cover 16. Preferably, this removal of the removable container 12 out of the covering shell 14 is reversible, that is to say -to say so that the removable container can again be fitted elastically onto a covering shell.
The invention is not limited to the single embodiments described above with reference to the figures, but is, on the contrary, susceptible of numerous variants accessible to those skilled in the art. In particular, the characteristics of the various embodiments described can be combined in embodiments not illustrated in the figures.
Furthermore, the side wall of the removable container can be of substantially hemi-ellipsoidal shape or even of polyhedral shape.
The bottom 40 of this removable container may not be flat. Preferably, the bottom 40 of the removable container is shaped to cause an imbalance of the removable container when the bottom of the removable container is placed on a flat support. The bottom 40 is for example formed by a non-flat projecting relief. Alternatively or additionally, the bottom of the removable container is produced by a face of a protruding relief, which can be flat, so that the straight line joining the center of the face and the center of gravity of the removable container forms a non-angle flat with the direction of the weight of said removable container, when the bottom thereof is placed on a flat support.
According to another aspect, in the example illustrated by FIGS. 14 to 20, the ring 202 is fixed to the covering shell 14 by force fitting. Alternatively, the ring 202 can be fixed to the covering shell 14 by gluing, welding or any other means known to those skilled in the art. Preferably, the ring 202 is fixed on the covering shell 14 in a durable manner, so that the ring 202 remains mounted on the covering shell 14 in the event of removal of the removable container 12. In particular, the disassembly of the ring 202 of the covering shell 14 may require the use of a tool.
In the examples described, the elastic casing reliefs are distinct, carried by separate tabs. However, an example can be imagined with a single elastic casing relief, respectively on the covering shell and on the removable container, this elastic casing relief can then be discontinuous.
Finally, the cover can be fixed to the removable container by screwing, as in the examples described above or, alternatively, by elastic fitting, by tightening, by magnetization, by means of a bayonet fixing or by any other means accessible to the skilled in the art.
Optionally the cover can be screwed onto the covering shell which then has a thread complementary to that of the cover.
